"Gulong" is one of the 9 finalists in the 2007 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival to be held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Written by Jeanne Lim and directed by Sockie Fernandez, the movie is a heartwarming story about childhood innocence, the road not taken and a decades-old love affair. Unlike many indie films which are dark and depressing, this one is a feel-good movie that you will thoroughly enjoy.

The cast includes Barbara Perez, Robert Arevalo, Gary Valenciano, Gardo Verzosa, Odette Khan, Tricia Amper-Jimenez, Lou Veloso and child actors Steven Fermo, Jorge Concordia, David Medina and Ignacius Flores.

The gala is on Sunday, July 22 at 12:45 p.m. at the CCP Main theater. Tickets are at P100. Students get a discounted rate of P50.
